Dear Fall

Dear Fall,

I would like to express my powerful desire for your presence in the state of Georgia.

We have experienced our share of your friend Summer, but she’s tired and would like to rest. Would it be too much trouble to stop in for a bit?

I would like to pull out my box of flannels, sweaters, and jeans. They feel lonely and smushed in the “cold weather” box they so lovingly occupy.

I long to relish the sweet flavor of pumpkin spice, cinnamon, and apple cider.

I can almost smell the scent of hay bails and campfires.

Among the 85 degree sun and humidity, we are frequently drenched by the seemingly endless “sporadic” rainfalls.

My heart yearns for the changing of colors on your trees, your temperate breeze, and your overall personality! You fill this world with such joy, could you share that with Georgia?

Below is my fall highlight reel- in case you need to remember how much fun you are!

Now I miss fall- and Alaska!
